Hello. Just wanted to say thanks for the great advice in the "How To" that you posted about changing Wishbones. The drivers side was exactly as you said, but I did experience some differences on the passenger side of my car (an Omega 2.5 TD Estate, 1997 vintage) The main bug bear being the pressence of 2 pipes from the underside of the Oil filter housing that run directly over the top of the rear bolt for the Wishbone. Don't worry too much about them though, Ford put a bloddy great big gearbox in the same position on the Mondeo!! I found that these pipes can be moved as there is a dis-mantleable joint that is easily accessable and allows ther pipes to be split and moved thereby giving access to the rear bolt. The only thing I noticed on re-assembly was to make sure that you recover the "O" rings for this joint and be prepared to crank the engine to get some oil back into the oil filter housing (other wise the engine doesn't fire up until it registers some pressure)

These problems aside, the Wishbones prooved to be realatively straighht forward to do. Mnay thaks for the tips in your "How To"

      best wishes
      Jon
