Cancelled Membership

    I cancelled my membership months ago and you have taken another payment from my credit card.
    I want this crediting back to me.

    The same has just happened to me.

    I haven't visited the forum in a long while and didn't receive any prior notice of my membership renewing until I had an alert from Paypal saying I had just paid £15.

    Not overly happy about this and would like it refunded please.

    Please send me a message with your PayPal details so we can look into it.

    If you had set this up as a recurring payment this would be the reason for your payment being taken automatically.

    Please check your PayPal settings are up to date as we cannot be responsible if you have made the error when making your payment for your subscription.

    I've deleted the payment from PayPal altogether now.

    Recurring payment or not, prior notice of a payment being taken should always be given.

    I have other recurring payments on PayPal and always receive an invoice at least 7 days prior to any payment being taken to give the consumer a chance to decline / cancel etc.

    If you check the PayPal recurring payments and billing agreements, section 8 it's there in black and white - an option to cancel a minimum of 3 days before the payment is due.
