Excellent weather made up for the crap we had back in April! The Club had a decent turnout too, and 8 attendees were out on Track during the day. Although we were given a fairly small stand space, we managed to fit everyone onto it. There were a lot of incidents on track, including a major smash (with roll) of a Fiat Coupe Turbo. (Total write off and the occupants were lucky to be able to walk out of it considering it ended up on it's roof and wasn't caged) Unfortunately, this meant the day was plagued with delays, to the point where the session timings became irrelevant (my 2 sessions alone were both over 1hr later than they were supposed to be...) This was a bit of a downer, but out of the control of the organisers, so unavoidable. One of the delays I suffered with saw me sat in the pitlane during the Drift display, however the marshals let us out of the car to sit along the Pit Wall to watch it and get photos. It did then also mean that my following session was with a group of Time Attack race cars and passenger ride Evos, and a handful of road cars. Unfortunately the club suffered 2 car casualties - Ayden's Volvo died, and also Nigels 306TD had a moment, and although we eventually managed to get it restarted and back to Dorset, it may also be terminal with the knocking it's making... I didn't get many pics, as was sat in/around my car waiting to get on track for a lot of the time.
