    i have a vauxhall vectra sri on a p plate how do i know what crank sensor it is to buy theres all different ones to get please could you let me know and how do i change it is any1 in bristol that wud giv me a hand?

    hi guys,just a quickie,i was given a omega 2.5v6 on a T plate yesterday from my next door neighbour & he said a part from it needing an mot,it also required a camshaft positioning sensor(thats wot the AA man told him)apparantly.does anybody know where in the engine bay it is located as i have no manual for it & is it a pig of a job to fit,if anybody can help,much appreciated

    i have just replaced my egr valve as i had erratic idling stalling at low revs and trouble starting some times and other times it would start first time, then it would run like a bag of nails pop and bang sometimes, what else can i try, i have my eml on but cant get a code as my service light doesnt elimunate!! could it be the crank sensor??
    i could really do with some advice please trying to drive like this is really getting on my wick now!!!

    Would the crank sensor failing cause the car to chug as if it's missing? My car is doing this I've had new coil pack and plugs but still doing it. Engine management light is on and diagnostic is showing crank sensor error?
