Sorry @Valer, wasn't suggesting the one you linked was no good. Just a general warning that there's a lot of fakes and claims of genuine parts when there isn't. Dexos 2 oil being a prime example

Will take heed of all the advice here. Willing to take a shot on the eBay seller quoted above but will call to ensure the part is as shown. Thank you everyone who has taken the time to post their input here so far, will update this thread after fitting if the problem is solved.

I need some for my next service. Was a couple years ago I bought 4x5ltr tubs. Fairly sure it was £50+Vat and they threw an extra one in for free

    *******UPDATE*******
The part arrived a day after it was expected but well wrapped up. The seal had been broken but my contact at Leader assured me it was for a visual inspection before delivery. The part looked absolutely brand new and unused and was indeed a genuine Delphi unit.

Took a couple of minutes to unclip the the connector and unscrew the two torx head bolts holding the old ignition coil pack in. Pulled out the old one and replaced with the new followed by connecting and tightening everything back up.

Turned the ignition key and everything is back to normal. Accelerates well and the vibration has gone.

Hugely grateful for the advice posted here. Thank you, now to get rid of the engine management light!

Glad it's all sorted and thanks again for letting us know the outcome.

The light will clear itself after a certain amount of time but it could take a while. I'm sure you could find a garage willing to clear the code for you for some roll/coffee money ;)
