    I know it's been a while since anyone commented on this thread, but to make it more complete as a WIKI/FAQ, having used this guide as input to changing my timing belt at the weekend, the answer to the clock face question is that the "clock times" should be pointed at by the tip of the hexagonal bolt that is circled red in this picture
