2011 Meriva Temp Question...

Hi,

I have recently, (within the last week) bought a 2011 1.7 diesel meriva and have 2 questions which may or may not be related to each other...

Firstly, the outside temp is shown in farenheit as opposed to celcius which is driving me mad. How do I change it?! The manual is pretty unhelpful and I don't have a 'menu' button on the indicator stalk (the manual seems to suggest that is an option which not all cars will have).

That may well lead into my second question... on the button by the trip counter, if pressed, I get the option to reset the trip, shows the trip counter, shows the % oil and also shows that it is on, for example, unit 1. If held, I can swop between units 1, 2 and 3. I haven't managed to work out what, if any, are the differences between units 1, 2 and 3. surely they aren't all the same?!?

Sorry for the rambling post, any help is much appreciated!!

Cheers

Dave

Units 1 2 and 3 are for different readings I think it is changing these also changes the dash temperature display I think it is unit 1 for centigrade
When you get to units on menu hold in the trip button and when it starts to flash press it till unit 1 is displayed the hold it again I'm guessing as yours is in Fahrenheit it is set to unit 2

Smigster, thanks for that, but my mental arithmetic just isn't that good...

Damien, all sorted, thanks pal! So, other than changing the temp, just for curiosities sake, what are the differences between the unit settings 1, 2 and 3?!

Cheers!!
