Hi can anybody give any clues to as what is wrong.

I have replaced:
1. Purge Control Valve as this was the only error code showing at first.
2. Camshaft Sensor
3.Crankshaft Sensor
4.Spark Plugs
5.Coil Pack

Cannot find any air leaks, Cleaned throttle body.

Only misfire codes are showing now but engine is still surging at idle and still no power.

Attached is an op-com reading at idle and running up the road and back.

That would cause the problems your having , my sons 1.4 Nissan note suffered from the same surging hunting as your experiencing , replaced an O2 sensor & the engine ran properly again .
One thing we did was to disconnect the sensor , this stopped the engine hunting & surging & a quick drive around the block showed the engine running as should. So we changed out that sensor & replaced with a NGK O2 sensor & all cured .

Fitted new front o2 sensor still no change. going to take throttle body off tomorrow and clean. If that does not work new fuel filter. Only codes coming up now are o2 sensor lean, o2 sensor heating circuit open and exhaust lean.

Noticed an air leak in fuel ventilation hose today but fixed that no change also checked voltage in o2 sensor harness and Maf harness reading 12.7 volts.

Sometimes it's best to disconnect the negative for an hour or so on the battery after you have fitted a new 02 sensor to completely clear the fault from the ecu

I'm having similar bother on my 60plate 1.7 diesel
Had fuel pump, new rail etc and still there.
I cleaned up part of the manifold intake pipe and it has softened the surging a bit but still there.

Could be worth checking a bit deeper for restriction in system?

I think the bother has been 99% resolved on mine and it just needs a full fuel system flush as it's down to muck in the system.
Didn't need to replace anything.

Maybe clean out the egr, .throttle and 1st section of the inlet manifold (corner bit under inspection cover) it massively improves air flow

System additives & cleaners don't actually work as just loosen up old rubbish but still a problem.
Get a proper garage clean done including tank (had a terraclean done when I first got car and didn't help)
